Unedged Lumber

Unedged lumber—also known as single-cut or natural-edge timber—is wood sawn directly from a log that retains its organic, untrimmed shape.

Edged Lumber

Edged lumber is wood that has been milled so that its edges are straight, parallel, and strictly squared off, with all irregular bark and rough edges removed.
